Normanby Island

Normanby Island is the main destination for day-trippers visiting the Frankland Group National Park. It offers fringing coral reefs directly off the beach and a short rainforest walking trail.

Only 100 commercial tour guests can visit Normanby Island each day. This strict limit protects the ecosystem and gives you plenty of space to explore.

You can snorkel with sea turtles, hike through dense rainforest, or relax on the sand. The island rises up to 20 metres above sea level and features a mix of rocky outcrops and coastal vegetation.
